  1. Gentlemen, I have also been researching my father’s service during WWII and discovered he was in ARGUS #22. I would be happy to share with you what I have found or could add this information to your website if you would just let me know how you’d like to do it. I requested his service records from the National Archives and have some very solid information. Of course my father and his records have been signed off on by the Exec. Officer of this unit, so that name could be provided as well.

  2. Blair Church, I have just discovered that my Father, Sherman, William Karl Sc2 also served in Argus-22. Was wondering if you had any additional info?

    • Patty – I’m just now seeing your comments. My dad had very few pictures and I’ve shared all the ones with people in them. The rest are just pics similar to the ones already attached. Like many veterans, he didn’t talk much about his experiences until just a few months before his passing. If you want to find out more about his service, you can order his records from the National Archives (https://www.archives.gov/veterans/military-service-records). There is a cost involved, but it’s not exorbitant and what you get outweighs the cost. For example, in my father’s records I found a telegram from the local Red Cross asking for emergency leave because of a medical issue with my grandfather. So I encourage you to do this.
